West Coast Swing Boots

Dear Dancers,

There has been a recent trend where competition dancers are wearing West Coast Swing boots instead of our traditional Western Boots.

WCS boots

There is an important difference between these boots; WCS have a flat heel and Western have a western heel.

The rules board would like to inform all dancers that we do not allow the wearing of WCS boots during our competitions. If necessary, we will include the old boot measurements rule to the General Rules to enforce this rule in the future.

Please do not risk incurring a penalty by continuing to wear these non regulated boots. We are a Country Western organisation and all of our members should support us by wearing of correct footwear at all times during competition.

Thank you for supporting us,

The WorldCDF Rules Board
